Since 1981, when George and Holly Squires started Rainbow Carpets & Beds in Skegness, they have been one of the area's major retailers of flooring and beds.

Even before that, as Rainbow Carpets, they supplied carpets and flooring to homes and caravans in the area, alongside running a caravan site in

Chapel St Leonards.

Since George passed away in 2021, Holly Squires still runs the firm alongside her eldest son, Adam, with the same philosophy of supplying the best quality at the lowest possible prices.

In 1994, when looking for a suitable location for the expansion of the business, they were fortunate to find the perfect location on the High Street of the delightfully unspoilt village of Sutton on Sea, just outside of Mablethorpe, giving us a commanding position just yards away from the beach. They decided to brand this store as Squire Furnishings, which now also incorporates SOS Flooring, and caters mainly to the retirement market as well as the tourist industry. It is from here that we built our reputation for supplying some of the very best furniture available today at sensible prices, combined with our legendary levels of customer service.

It is this philosophy which has stood the company in good stead over the years and continues to bring success to the team.
